In order to ship a pallet to Saudi Arabia, you will need the following documents:
- A Saudi Arabian Embassy attested Arab certificate of origin.
- Commercial Invoice attested by a chamber of commerce.
Also, please be aware of the following:
*The Commercial Invoice must be attested by a Chamber of Commerce. It MUST be original on colour headed notepaper. It MUST include the HS code, number of items, the value per item, total value of individual items and final grand total. The invoice MUST state the weight of each item, and the total weight of all items, and MUST match exactly the Certificate of Origin. Also, the consignor and consignee details MUST match the Certificate of Origin.
If you haven't sent a pallet/ parcel before, and you are not sure if your consignment is properly packed, you can take a few pictures and send them to us at office@pallet2ship.co.uk and we can guide you through the packing process. A properly packed consignment will travel safely, and the risk of damage is minimised.
Yes, we ship a large variety of batteries, but we will need the MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheet) of the product to make sure it is safe to be transported through our services. Please be advised that batteries over 100 Wh are considered DG (Dangerous Goods). In this case it has to be packed, labelled and documented to IATA specifications - i.e. professionally packed with a DGN (Shipper's Declaration for Dangerous Goods by Air). Also, please be advised that handling charges may apply if you choose to ship this type of goods by air.
If you are shipping a consignment that's shorter than 200cm and lighter than 750kg, you won't need a forklift. The vehicle assigned to collect your consignment is equipped with both a tail-lift and pump-truck, and the driver should be able to collect/deliver your consignment(s) without any issues. If your consignment exceeds 200cm in height and if it's heavier than 750kg, then yes, you must have a forklift at both collection and delivery points.
Both air freight and sea freight services are available. If your consignment is not urgent, you can choose to send your goods on a sea freight service as this is by far the most cost effective, especially for large and heavy pallets. You can ship from 1 single pallet to full container loads. If your consignment is urgent, and is not larger than 160cm in height, air freight offers the quickest transit times.
