Considering shipping goods to/from Europe? In the UK, businesses, self-employed and private individuals involved in a commercial transaction must register, the same for businesses and self-employed within the EU, so before exporting/importing it is essential to make sure that both you and your customers/suppliers in Europe have the EORI numbers (unless your EU customer is a private individual and the goods in question are personal effects, in which case they do not need it)

The cheapest option to ship a pallet to or from Europe is through our road freight services. We offer a wide range of road-freight services from different industry-leading carriers, to meet all our customer’s needs and expectations. If you are looking for fast pallet delivery, the Premium options would be your best choice. If you are interested in the most cost-effective option, the Economy services are the best solution for you.
Visit our Quote&Book page, input the collection and delivery postcodes and the dimensions and weight of your consignment, and the website will instantly offer you all of our available services for deliveries to Europe. You can choose between a wide range of services, such as road freight or air freight and select the service that most suits your budget and timeframe.
We offer standard coverage of £50 insurance per consignment. However, we offer an additional insurance option which can be purchased through the booking process. Based on the value of your goods, you can select insurance for amounts between £100 and £45,000. If the value of your goods is higher than £45,000, you can request a quote, and we will revert with a price as soon as possible.
Our pallet delivery services to Europe can handle oversized consignments, of up to 340cm X 240cm and 1,200 kg.
Most shipments booked with Pallet2ship do not require an export licence when shipping to or from Europe. However, you must check our Prohibited&Restricted items list before booking your shipment.
There is no packing regulation when shipping a pallet to Europe, however, there are some rules we recommend you follow to ensure a safe journey. An important aspects is to use a sturdy pallet base. Please pack the goods you are planning to ship in heavy-duty cardboard boxes, if possible. The final step is to secure the items on the pallet using shrink wrap or straps.
